ELEPHANTS!!

As with the previous post, these pictures are from several weeks ago when we were in Ghana.  
 
We took a jeep safari on a hunt for elephants.  We were not disappointed!  Our driver Peter knew just where to go.  

Our first view of an elephant!  We were all out of that jeep in no time, tromping through the brush, cameras in hand, thankful that we had sprayed our bug spray.  





 

And then there were two ....

Up Close and Personal

Dinnertime!  Think I'll have some leaves ....

"OK, I'll pose, but make it quick."

The Elephant Crossing  -  "Please stay close to the Jeep!"

Last is Baby.  He will have to wash his muddy feet in the stream. 

And why did the elephants cross the road?  To get to the Elephant Convention!  We counted at least 6 there!
